Job summary

Apex Group in Singapore seeks a Senior Account Manager specializing in Private Equity and Private Credit to oversee client relationships and fund accounting operations. You will coordinate with senior management, ensure audit compliance, and lead onboarding and ongoing client services while driving efficiency improvements.

The role requires deep fund accounting expertise, strong English communication, and leadership capabilities within a global fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of private equity or real estate fund accounting experience.
• Exposure to private credit funds desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Advanced MS Excel; proficient in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Efront or Investran systems is advantageous.
• Professional designation such as CA/CPA/CMA would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end client relationship management and address inquiries and meetings with clients.
• Interact with senior management and clients to review procedures and propose efficiency improvements.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external audit standards and fund accounting controls.
• Lead onboarding of new funds and ensure readiness prior to launch dates.
• Review NAV, trial balance, GL, cash and portfolio reconciliations for assigned funds.
• Support investor services: AML/KYC, capital activity reviews, and periodic statements.
• Manage and develop team performance, assign KRAs and monitor profitability and SLAs.
• Drive process improvements and SSAE 16 control enhancements.
