Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PCB repairs.
• Fault-finding to component level with diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with PCB design software and electronics simulators.
• Reverse engineering of small control/digital PCBs or managing outside vendors.
• Good soldering and component replacement capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Capable of repairing mid-complexity analogue and digital PCB’s and power supplies.
• Set-up of electronics repair lab and selection of latest diagnostic equipment.
• Set-up and use of software to track & document repairs, common faults, diagnostics techniques.
• Ensure learning is retained and PCB knowledge improves over time.
• Set-up and management of long-lead-time key components to be stocked.
• Re-building of electronic & cable assemblies.
• Lead project to develop block or circuit diagrams for our PCB’s (internally or via outside source).
• Training of graduate technicians over time.

We are seeking to recruit a Senior PCB / Electronics Repair Engineer to complement our Singapore teams machine refurbishment capabilities.

Working within a small, capable and inclusive team, the employee can be assured to work in a rewarding yet low-pressure environment with wide flexibility to their personal needs.

Responsibilities:

• Capable of repairing mid-complexity analogue and digital PCB’s and power supplies.
• Set-up of electronics repair lab and selection of latest diagnostic equipment
• Set-up and use of software to track & document repairs, common faults, diagnostics techniques
• and ensure all learning is retained - "get better at knowing our PCBs"
• Set-up and management of long-lead-time key components to be stocked
