Job summary

OCBC in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to join and lead the Payment team, supporting Interbank transactions via SWIFT, remittance, FAST/PayNow, and other payment services. You will drive delivery and ensure SLAs through collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in banking software, Payments domain expertise, architecture review, regulatory/audit readiness, plus strong Java, SQL, Kafka, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Payment systems and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Payment team to support critical payment applications (SWIFT, remittance, FAST/PayNow).
• Ensure SLAs and high availability through collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
• Review architecture and provide guidance to maintain performance, resiliency and stability.
