Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to manufacture and repair wooden, plastic, or metal casting patterns in accordance with engineering drawings. The role requires ensuring dimensional accuracy and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include interpreting specs, selecting materials, and coordinating with casting and production teams while maintaining safety standards and tool integrity in the pattern shop.

Qualifications

• ITI Pattern Maker / Carpentry (Mandatory).
• Pattern Making Certification (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pattern making.
• Experience with wooden, plastic, or metal patterns.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Caliper, etc.).
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and repair wooden, plastic, or metal casting patterns.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for pattern making.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
• Perform finishing and sanding for smooth surfaces.
• Maintain pattern shop tools and equipment.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with casting and production teams.
