Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join the Maintenance & Utilities department at our industrial client site. You will perform dimensional inspections using gauges and precision instruments and support proactive mechanical maintenance activities.

The role requires hands-on experience with vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges, along with strong adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI / Technical Certificate in Mechanical field.
• Metrology training completed.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience.
• Experience with dimensional inspection techniques and measuring tools.
• Familiarity with quality standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional inspection using gauges and measuring instruments
• Use vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other precision tools
• Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Maintain inspection reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Support maintenance team during breakdowns and shutdowns
