Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre is seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Support role to assist with picking and packing medications, stock checking, and arranging supplies in the Pharmacy. The incumbent will also handle Home Delivery Service and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

The position emphasizes accuracy in stock handling, customer service, and teamwork within the Pharmacy. Training will be provided to support daily operations and patient deliveries.

Qualifications

• GCE O/N levels or Nitec required.
• Keen interest in healthcare/medical industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Able to communicate effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking and packing of medications according to prescription/Pharmacy Requisition forms.
• Receive, unpack and check stocks against documents to ensure accuracy.
• Arrange stocks on shelves in FEFO (First-Expiry First-Out) order.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and prepare them for daily operations.
• Assist in providing quality customer services, e.g., answering telephone inquiries.
• Call and liaise with patients for Home Delivery Service with valid prescriptions.
• Arrange outstanding prescriptions by patient name and running dispensing dates.
• Arrange dispensed prescriptions into stacks by running dates.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

• Assists in the preparation of medication according to prescription/ Pharmacy Requisition forms through pick and pack

• Receives, unpacks and checks stocks against the appropriate documents to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for

• Arranges stocks onto their respective stock shelves in First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) order

• Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy work areas and prepares work areas for daily operations

• Assists in providing quality customer services e.g. through answering telephone enquiries

• Calls and liaises with patients for Home Delivery Service with valid SNEC prescriptions

• Arranges all outstanding valid prescriptions according to names and/or running sequential dates of dispensing

• Arrange dispensed prescriptions into stacks of running dates

• Other duties as directed by supervisors

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum GCE "O" or "N" levels or Nitec

• Keen interest in the healthcare/ medical industry

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and have good initiative

• Able to communicate and function effectively as a member of a team
