Income Insurance Limited is seeking a Distribution Underwriter for its Property & Casualty business in Singapore. The role blends underwriting expertise with business development to grow profitable distribution through intermediaries, brokers, and agents.

You will evaluate risks, structure insurance solutions, and align activities with regulatory standards while strengthening partnerships and supporting strategic initiatives in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in general insurance.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance products.
• Understanding of the Singapore insurance market and regulatory environment.
• Professional certifications such as SCI or CII are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a profitable portfolio across distribution channels.
• Assess and underwrite new and renewal P&C risks within delegated authority.
• Evaluate risk exposures using underwriting tools, claims data, and financial information.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across P&C product lines.
• Participate in meetings, client engagements, and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide market feedback and support product enhancements.
• Contribute to business planning and strategic initiatives.
