Job summary

CSGROUP Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Insurance Underwriter lead in Singapore. You will manage a team of underwriters, perform QA checks, train junior staff, and drive efficiency across work processes while underwriting Property & Casualty classes.

You will focus on portfolio profitability, broker relationship management, and development of Broker Facilities, ensuring adherence to the credit control policy and taking on any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• General insurance qualifications required (BCP & CGI).
• 7–9 years' experience in general insurance.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty classes and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters.
• Carry out quality assurance checks and assist in training of junior team members.
• Optimize efficiency and effectiveness in work processes within the department.
• Underwrite Property & Casualty Classes of Insurance.
• Manage portfolio profitability growth.
• Build and maintain relationship with brokers.
• Develop and manage Broker Facilities.
• Ensure compliance with credit control policy.
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.
