Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to lead design, deployment and operations of the container platform. You will drive upgrades, capacity planning and automation across on-prem, hybrid and public cloud environments.

Collaboration with security, architecture and DevOps teams is essential to ensure scalability and reliability. The role requires strong Linux experience, IaC skills and a proven track record in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on expertise with OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes.
Experience across on-premises, hybrid or public cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (RHEL preferred).
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of security controls, logging, metrics and observability.

Responsibilities

Lead design, deployment and lifecycle management of OCP with high availability.
Plan upgrades, patches, capacity planning and platform enhancements.
Collaborate with DevOps, security and application teams for onboarding workloads.
Oversee day-to-day OpenShift operations, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD integration.
Develop and maintain runbooks, DR plans and technical documentation.
