Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior Platform Engineer to own DevOps infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive automation, IaC, and security hardening while ensuring reliability and governance for OpenShift, Linux servers, and cloud services.

The role leads incident response, capacity planning, and collaboration with security, architecture, and application teams to deliver scalable infrastructure for engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift.
• At least 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent environments.
• Strong experience with server operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, Ubuntu.
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, load balancers, reverse proxies, TLS/SSL certificate management.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives and define standards.
• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters.
• Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning using automation and IaC.
• Drive platform observability, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
