Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to build and support a highly available, secure, and recoverable infrastructure platform. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualized environments, and cloud integrations across on-prem and multi-cloud setups.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in server administration, strong expertise in IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Chef), VMware, and container platforms such as OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in server/ system administration, troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Chef and Ansible).
• Operating Systems such as Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux and Unix.
• SAN storage and backup; VMware.
• Containers such as OpenShift and Kubernetes; and Cloud such as AWS, Azure and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build and support a highly available, reliable, secure and recoverable IT infrastructure and platform.
• Install hardware and software; maintain and upgrade systems.
• Implement and review hardening to bank standards; ensure security and compliance.
• Setup file systems, backups/restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with architects, service teams and vendors; participate in audits and governance.
