Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore seeks an experienced Container Platform Engineer to manage OpenShift across on-prem and AWS environments. You will automate cluster provisioning, patching, and upgrades, handle capacity planning, and provide L2/L3 support with rapid incident response.

Qualifications

3 to 15 years’ experience managing container platforms, specifically OpenShift.
Experience deploying OpenShift on-premises and in AWS.
Proficiency in scripting for automation (Shell, Python, Perl).
Strong communication and ability to work with enterprise teams.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of Container Platform administration for business-critical systems (cluster deployment, patching, configuration, migration, upgrades).
Handle cluster capacity management and provisioning via automation.
Provide L2/L3 operational support including incident response and root-cause analysis.
Create and maintain system documentation, playbooks, and config records.
Lead platform changes through change control processes and report status to stakeholders.
Monitor service levels and implement disaster recovery planning for business continuity.
Mentor junior staff and vendor personnel on procedures.
