Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd, through its Sembcorp Specialised Construction unit, is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to manage civil and structural aspects of building projects on site in Singapore. You will supervise on-site works, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with the Resident Engineer and contractors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as an RTO, incl. 5 years in site management of major works.
Diploma from Polytechnic, BCA Academy, or equivalent.
Accredited with JAC-IES/ACES.
BCSS Certificate valid.
Conversant with contract administration, QA procedures, and progress reporting.
Willing to work overtime or shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist the Resident Engineer on-site to supervise construction and ensure compliance.
Coordinate with QP, Resident Engineer and contractors to resolve site issues and meet deadlines.
Supervise day-to-day civil and structural works per drawings and Building Control Act.
Monitor progress, identify delays, and prepare site reports.
Ensure works comply with BCA, codes, and company policies.
Maintain site records and attend project meetings.
Oversee safety per MOM regulations.
Inspect materials and oversee QC and tests.
