Job summary

ENGINEERS ALLIANCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee on-site supervision and act as the primary liaison among the contractor, client and consulting team.

The role focuses on monitoring progress, ensuring quality control, and implementing design modifications as needed. The successful candidate will have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (PE Board Singapore-accredited) and at least 5 years of site supervision experience, with proven ability to manage meetings and report

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a university accredited by PE Board Singapore.
• Experience in full-time site supervision.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of the Resident Engineer on site.
• Act as primary point of contact for construction supervision between contractor, client and consultant team.
• Project progress reporting.
• Quality control and design modifications.
• Establish an appropriate working relationship with the contractor.
• Build a trusted relationship with the client and consultant team.
• Use effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress to the Client.
• Monitor progress of construction against the programme and take steps to avoid delay.
• Evaluate, select and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and devices and implement solutions to problems encountered.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, design/technical meetings and meetings with statutory bodies as required.
