Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Designer to execute detailed telecom design and drafting for FPSO, FLNG and offshore facilities across Concept, FEED and EPCI phases. You will develop layouts, cable routing and installation details, coordinate interfaces with structural, electrical, mechanical teams, and support procurement, construction and commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 8+ years offshore telecom design experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 8 years of telecommunications design experience in offshore oil & gas.
Minimum 5 years with a leading FPSO, FLNG or Offshore EPC contractor.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience with offshore telecommunications systems and interfaces with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Prepare telecom design deliverables such as layouts, diagrams, cable schedules, equipment lists.
Develop design documents in accordance with project specs and international codes and standards.
Coordinate equipment locations, cable routing, installation requirements, and interfaces with other disciplines.
Support vendor document reviews and technical clarification activities.
Participate in model reviews, clash resolution and design meetings.
