Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU is seeking a Lead Telecommunications Designer to lead design and drafting of telecom systems for FPSO, FLNG and offshore facilities through Concept, FEED and EPCI phases. You will coordinate with disciplines, supervise CAD staff, review vendor drawings, and ensure compliance with international codes and standards while supporting construction, commissioning and handover.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, 10 years offshore

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years offshore telecom design experience.
Minimum 5 years with a leading FPSO/FLNG or Offshore EPC contractor.
Proficient in telecom equipment layout and cable routing.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Lead telecommunications design and drafting activities for FPSO, FLNG and offshore facility projects.
Coordinate telecommunications design deliverables to meet project schedule, quality and client requirements.
Allocate and supervise design activities performed by designers and CAD personnel.
Ensure consistency and quality of telecommunications drawings and design documentation.
Participate in 3D model development and interdisciplinary model reviews.
