Job summary

Aibel in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead skid package projects in offshore oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. You will review supplier documentation, interface with other disciplines, and participate in site supervision from construction through handover.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in skid packages in offshore oil, gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Experience with offshore mechanical/multi-disciplinary packages.
• Familiar with standards such as API, ISO and NORSOK.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical documentation for procurement of mechanical equipment and packages.
• Review supplier engineering documentation and ensure integration with other disciplines.
• Site supervision of construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Prepare and review drawings and discipline deliverables.
• Participate in studies and reviews as discipline lead for mechanical packages.
• Suggest improvements to project costs and schedule and support QHSE goals.
• Travel overseas on short notice and perform overtime as needed.
