Job summary

OCEANSTAR ELITE ENGINEERING GROUPS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Marine Mechanical Engineer to support equipment packages for marine and offshore projects in Singapore.

You will ensure equipment meets project requirements, industry standards, and reliability goals, collaborating with vendors and multiple engineering disciplines throughout the lifecycle. The role requires 5–10 years in engineering with 3–5 years offshore/marine FPSO exposure, strong knowledge of marine equipment, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in FPSO, offshore, or marine projects.
• Good understanding of marine mechanical equipment and systems and package engineering workflows.
• Experience supporting equipment through FAT, commissioning and offshore project execution.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and calculations for marine mechanical equipment (fresh water generators, pumps, sewage treatment plants).
• Prepare datasheets, technical specifications and requisitions for RFQs.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations and review vendor documentation.
• Provide technical support during FAT, SIT, commissioning and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO and classification society requirements.
• Coordinate with process, piping, electrical and structural disciplines for project delivery.
• Assist with troubleshooting and reliability assessments (noise, vibration, performance).
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and other safety/technical reviews.
