Job summary

Seatrium Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer for offshore design on FPSO projects. The role involves translating client requirements into contract scope, supporting project teams, and developing process philosophies, PFDs, P&IDs, and related datasheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• 10+ years of design experience in offshore industry.
• Experience in FEED and EPC engineering, preferably FPSO.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand project and client requirements; clarify scope for contract basis.
• Support PM team with process deliverable schedule updates.
• Prepare process philosophies (control, isolation, sparing, P&A, vent, relief, flare).
• Develop Process Simulation H&M sheets and related data.
• Produce PFD, UFD, P&ID, C&E diagrams and Safe charts.
• Perform equipment sizing, line sizing, hydraulic analysis, flare network design.
• Prepare technical queries and assist lead engineer with client responses.
• Conduct process studies (e.g., dynamic depressurization).
• Prepare process system reports, vent/drain reports, utility summaries.
• Create datasheets for mechanical equipment and instruments.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and review vendor documents.
• Liaise with hull/marine interfaces and contribute to manuals.
• Assist in tracking client comments and potential changes.
• Support detailed engineering through commissioning and warranty tests.
• Gather/maintain process data for feasibility studies and tender docs.
