Job summary

Seatrium Ltd in Singapore is seeking a piping engineer with 5+ years of experience to ensure contract compliance and oversee piping take-offs, vendor evaluations, and procurement activities.

The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and involvement in offshore/shipyard projects, including FPSO topsides and marine systems. Location is Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., Tuas South, Singapore with regular hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of piping engineering or related experience.
• Experience in offshore/shipyard projects; rig and shipbuilding preferred.
• Familiarity with FPSO projects covering topsides and marine systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulations.
• Review P&IDs and piping routines for accuracy and compliance; prepare MTO reports.
• Evaluate vendor proposals; conduct Technical Bid Evaluations.
• Monitor procurement to align with project schedules and track materials.
• Review vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors, discipline leads, procurement, production and commissioning.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests; ensure all technical and quality requirements are met.
• Proactively manage piping procurement with minimal supervision.
