Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Singapore is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead process engineering and FEED activities for offshore hydrocarbon projects. You will design, model, and optimize processes, prepare P&IDs and datasheets, and collaborate on FEED and detailed design studies, with exposure to energy transition projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient and safe plant designs, leveraging strong technical knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering design experience.
• Experience with Offshore FPSO, Oil & Gas, LNG terminal projects; energy transition experience is advantageous.
• Leadership experience in managing process teams for Hydrocarbon projects (FEED and detailed design).
• Strong understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.
• Lead Engineer/Area Lead Engineer experience preferred.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards, software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies
• Perform Process simulations and prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance and Utility Balances
• Create Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements
• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics
• Prepare Process design philosophies and operating guides
• Collaborate on Concept studies, Feasibility reports, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design projects
