Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU in Singapore seeks a Lead Process Engineer to govern design basis, PFD/P&ID development, and heat and material balance for FPSO, FLNG, offshore and onshore projects. You will guide process simulations, datasheets, safety inputs, and startup support across FEED/EPCI teams.

You will coordinate interfaces with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and procurement functions, ensuring constructability, schedule, and cost targets are met. Mentoring junior staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for Principal/Lead roles or complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern process design basis, PFD/P&ID development, heat and material balance, and process simulations.
• Prepare and coordinate datasheets, HMBs, cause-and-effect inputs, and commissioning notes.
• Provide interface coordination across disciplines and support design reviews.
• Identify risks, ensure constructability, and maintain design integrity throughout FEED/EPCI.
