Job summary

Tangspac Search is recruiting for a Middle Office Analyst to join the FI and Capital Markets team in Singapore. You will coordinate daily FI functions, ensuring MAS compliance and smooth client onboarding.

You will gain exposure to deposits, loans, trade finance, custody operations, and related reporting, while maintaining robust control and data integrity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in financial institutions, with strong communication and meticulous work habits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding and account opening with data verification.
• Prepare indicative deposit pricing to support pricing processes.
• Process deposits, loans, interbank placements, and secondary trade finance.
• Monitor daily transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare ad-hoc and regular reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain middle office workflows and SOPs for efficiency.
• Support custody operations and onboarding.
• Participate in UAT and system/process improvements.

Job Summary

Join the middle office team supporting Financial Institutions and Capital Markets operations. You will coordinate daily FI functions, ensuring compliance with MAS regulations while gaining exposure to deposits, loans, trade finance, custody operations, and client onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding and account opening by collecting data, verifying documents, and inputting information into systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare indicative deposit pricing to support deposit pricing processes
• Process deposits, loans, interbank placements, and secondary trade finance transactions with accuracy
• Monitor daily transactions, identify discrepancies or settlement issues, and follow up for resolution
• Prepare ad-hoc and regular reports for various internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• Maintain and execute middle office workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in implementing new systems or process improvements
• Support custody operations by assisting with client onboarding, maintaining custody workflows, and executing standard operating procedures

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial institutions
• Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Able to work independently and meticulously
