Job summary

China Construction Bank Corporation Singapore Branch is seeking a self-driven junior professional to support the Middle Office function for FI and Custody operations. You will assist onboarding, settlement, and reporting across front and back offices, gaining exposure to deposits, loans, trade finance, and regulatory requirements in MAS framework.

You will coordinate with local and head office teams, maintain SOPs, and participate in UAT and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial institutions.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with Head office colleagues and Mandarin speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support client onboarding and account opening processes, including data collection, document verification, and system input.
Support deposit pricing processes by preparing indicative pricing.
Assist in processing deposit, loans, interbank placements and secondary trade finance businesses.
Monitor daily transactions and follow up on discrepancies or settlement issues.
Assist in preparing ad-hoc and regular reports to different stakeholders.
Assist in maintaining and executing middle office workflows and standard operating procedures.
Participate in system testing (UAT) and implementation of new processes or tools.
Support custody operations.
Maintain custody workflows and SOPs.
