Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) invites a Senior Officer, Computer Operator to join the Group Infrastructure & Platform Services on onsite basis in the Central Region (City Area), Singapore. You will monitor 24x7 IT operations across Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux and Windows, handle batch jobs, incidents, and provide first-level support while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

• 2+ years hands-on experience in IT operations or Command Center environment.
• Familiarity with Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux, Windows.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operations to ensure continuous IT system availability in a 24x7 Command Center.
• Monitor and manage batch jobs to meet SLAs and resolve failures.
• Identify, escalate, and track incidents to appropriate support teams.
• Conduct first-level diagnosis and resolution of system and batch issues before escalation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams during incidents and maintenance.
• Maintain operational logs and shift handover documentation for audit and compliance.
