OEM Buyer at MNC | Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing in Changi (East Region) drives procurement strategies for complex aerospace machining and secondary operations. Manage outside service processes and coordinate among planning, production, quality, and finance.

Role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing within manufacturing, outsourcing exposure to sub-contractors, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, project procurement, and vendor management in a manufacturing setting.
• Outsourcing exposure with sub-contractors for coating, machining, or heat treatment.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Power Platform tools.
• Strong commercial acumen in inventory costs and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Sub-contractor & Vendor Management: Oversee 7+ outside service vendors for secondary processes and monitor OTIF.
• PO & Project Execution: Generate and manage POs; align WOs and POs with Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Control: Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate terms to mitigate inflation.
• Data Analytics & System Optimization: Automate purchasing reporting to improve inventory and lead times.
