Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of procurement and vendor management experience in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to achieve measurable cost savings and manage supplier performance.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with formal contract management and outsourced vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities to support workshop operations.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and procure spare parts, consumables, materials and services at competitive prices.
• Review supplier quotations, compare pricing and recommend cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics and planning teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, vendors, pricing and procurement expenditure.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, expand the supplier base and minimise procurement risks.
• Monitor supplier performance, including delivery reliability and product quality.
• Support procurement reporting, process improvements and material planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures and safety standards.
