Job summary

AIR ENERGI GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Buyer (Direct Procurement) to manage end-to-end procurement for direct materials in manufacturing.

You will source metals and CNC components, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost, quality, delivery and inventory metrics. The role requires 5+ years in direct procurement within OEM manufacturing or aerospace, with strong knowledge of machining, fabrication and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in purchasing/procurement in OEM manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated industries.
• Direct procurement experience for metals, CNC parts, fabricated components and subcontract services.
• Understanding of machining, fabrication, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with supplier management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of direct materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Source and negotiate suppliers for raw metals, CNC machined components, fabricated parts, and subcontract services.
• Drive cost, quality, delivery and inventory performance.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and lead commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering and Quality to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance, capacity, lead times and risk mitigation plans.
• Identify cost reduction and supplier development opportunities.
