Job summary

Vanguard Healthcare Pte Ltd aims to recruit a Senior/Staff Nurse to supervise a team of Enrolled Nurses, Aides/Assistants and Healthcare Assistants in Bukit Panjang and Woodlands Care Homes. You will oversee delivery of essential healthcare services and coordinate care with doctors and allied staff.

The role requires a nursing degree/diploma, SNB licensure, and strong communication. You’ll lead care plans, conduct rounds, and ensure quality standards with compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Valid Practising License with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team leadership capability and patient-centred care mindset.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs on admission and throughout their stay.
• Plan and implement care according to assessed needs.
• Evaluate and monitor residents’ progress with the care plan.
• Maintain documentation of residents’ cases accurately.
• Coordinate with Enrolled Nurses to implement care plans (medication, hygiene, activities).
• Participate in doctor rounds and carry out prescribed treatments and investigations.
• Collaborate with doctors and rehab/medical social workers for holistic care.
• Demonstrate clinical skills, advocate prompt medical attention when needed.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment and conserve supplies.
• Provide regular health updates to residents and families; conduct family conferences when required.
