Job summary

Lightspeed Studios is seeking an NLP Research Engineer to advance Chinese word segmentation, POS tagging, sentence analysis, and named entity recognition within our game tech ecosystem.

You will handle text classification, sentiment analysis, data mining, text generation, and topic analysis, while refining algorithms to meet business needs and data realities in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Familiar with NLP fundamentals and ML principles.
• Publication in NLP venues is a plus.
• Experience with word segmentation, POS tagging, entity recognition and sentence analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop NLP solutions for Chinese word segmentation, POS tagging, sentence analysis and named entity recognition.
• Lead text classification, sentiment analysis, data mining, text generation and topic analysis.
• Improve existing NLP algorithms by aligning with business needs and data.
• Explore NLP techniques and deep learning applications in games.
• Keep up-to-date with academia and industry findings and apply them to projects.
