Job summary

Lightspeed Studios in Singapore seeks a research-focused ML specialist to advance AI for online gaming across multiple genres and devices.

You will design and evaluate algorithms, mine large-scale data for user behavior, and build models for retention and engagement, collaborating with engineers and product teams.

A strong background in statistics, ML, NLP, and programming is required; experience with Hadoop/Spark is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of statistical models and ML principles.
• Experience with data mining, clustering and classification.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Research state-of-the-art ML and DL methods for game data.
• Design, evaluate and improve core AI algorithms for online serving.
• Perform in-depth statistical analyses on large-scale data.
• Conduct sentiment analysis, topic modeling and text summarization on user comments.
• Identify user pain points and propose data-driven retention strategies.
• Improve data analysis pipelines using distributed computing platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and publish findings when possible.
