Job summary

LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS is seeking an NLP-focused researcher to advance language processing for games at the Lightspeed Tech Center. You will work on Chinese word segmentation, POS tagging, entity recognition, and text classification to enable in-game analytics and content understanding.

You will also explore data mining, text generation, topic analysis, and model pre-training while applying state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to real-time gameplay experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• Familiar with NLP fundamentals and statistical models.
• Experience with NLP projects and machine learning principles.
• Publication of NLP results in journals/conferences is a plus.
• Knowledge of word segmentation, POS tagging, entity recognition, and model pre-training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for NLP research and development including segmentation, tagging, sentence analysis, and entity recognition.
• Responsible for text classification, sentiment analysis, data mining, text generation, topic analysis, label extraction.
• Optimize existing online algorithms and develop NLP solutions aligned with business needs and data.
• Explore NLP and deep learning applications in games.
• Follow latest developments in academia and industry and apply findings quickly.
