Job summary

Tencent's Lightspeed Studios is seeking researchers to develop agents based on large language models and integrate them into live game environments across PUBG Mobile and other titles. You will optimize latency and cost while collaborating with game designers and engineers to meet player experience targets.

We are looking for a foundation in ML/NLP, proficiency in at least one programming language, and exposure to data structures and algorithms.

Qualifications

• Familiar with machine learning foundations, with a strong understanding of statistical models and experience working on NLP related projects.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, familiar with basic data structures and algorithms.
• Publication of academic results in AI/NLP conferences (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, EMNLP, ACL) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop agents based on large language models and optimize their performance.
• Collaborate with game designers and engineers to integrate LLM-powered agents into live game environments, ensuring latency, cost, and player experience requirements are met.
• Research cutting-edge techniques in LLM reasoning, planning, tool-use, and memory, and adapt them to game agent scenarios.
