Job summary

GMP Technologies is hiring a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and upgrade our enterprise network, oversee testing, and ensure reliable Cisco-based infrastructure in Singapore.

The role requires CCNP, NSE, and CCSA, familiarity with SolarWinds and Fortinet tools, and willingness to work after office hours. You will lead incident resolution, capacity planning, and modernization projects across on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, CS or equivalent.
• Certifications CCNP, NSE, and CCSA required; cloud certs are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, WLC, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager.
• Willingness to work after office hours and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute infrastructure replacement and upgrade plans, manage changes and maintenance routines, and oversee network testing.
• Simulate and resolve user-reported network issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend system modifications for reliability.
• Develop and deploy temporary solutions while permanent resolutions are underway; maintain system inventory and oversee issue tracking.
• Lead project planning and requirements gathering for infrastructure network operations; train team members.
• Ensure network operations adhere to SLAs; monitor performance against SLAs and develop client satisfaction metrics.
• Pilot new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance performance and reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN; address vulnerabilities, gather performance metrics, and optimize hardware/software.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute infrastructure replacement and upgrade plans, manage the implementation of approved changes and maintenance routines, and oversee network testing to ensure the successful deployment of new systems and updates.
• Simulate and resolve user-reported network and connectivity issues, conduct root cause analysis to identify long-term solutions, and recommend system modifications to enhance infrastructure reliability.
• Develop and deploy temporary solutions while permanent resolutions are underway, maintain an up-to-date system inventory, and oversee issue tracking to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Lead project planning and requirements gathering for infrastructure network operations, while providing guidance and training to team members to efficiently resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Ensure network operations adhere to service level agreements (SLAs), monitor performance against service-level objectives, and develop client satisfaction metrics, service procedures, and improvement recommendations to enhance overall performance and user experience.
• Pilot new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance infrastructure systems' performance and reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN infrastructure, address vulnerabilities in compliance with company policies, gather performance metrics, monitor data usage for capacity planning, and regularly optimize hardware and software components through tuning, updates, and upgrades.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or equivalent.
• Certifications: CCNP, NSE, and CCSA are required. Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with network management tools, including SolarWinds, WLC, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
• Familiarity with cloud-based network technologies and architectures such as Azure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends when necessary.
