Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead a dedicated team of network engineers while guiding design, deployment, and optimization of the enterprise network infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance across the organization, coordinating with IT operations, security, and application teams.

The role demands strong leadership, deep expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP, and vendor gear (Cisco/Juniper), plus hands-on experience

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• 3+ years of demonstrated team leadership and people management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of network architecture, routing protocols, switching technologies, and TCP/IP networking.
• Proficiency with enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in network security, firewalls, VPNs, and access control implementations.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, hybrid infrastructure, and modern network design principles.
• Proven ability to analyze complex network problems and implement efficient solutions.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
• Experience with network documentation tools and configuration management systems.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certification.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate network technologies, and oversee budget allocation for network projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support career development.
