Job summary

InternSG is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Singapore to configure and manage active devices such as switches, CCTV cameras, and Wi-Fi and access control systems. The role involves installing routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs, and responding to alerts with timely resolutions.

You will perform maintenance, upgrades, and security configurations, while ensuring network health, availability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations or a similar role
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage active devices such as switches, CCTV cameras, Wi‑Fi devices and access control systems
• Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN)
• Respond to network alerts and support tickets, with timely resolution and escalation as needed
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Perform routine checks to ensure network health, availability and performance
• Maintain inventory and documentation for all network assets and patch panels
