Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a network and security engineer to provision, deploy, configure, and administer networking hardware and security software. You will test new technologies, troubleshoot incidents, and provide technical support for customer problems and requests.

Responsibilities include configuring routers/switches, implementing firewall rules, monitoring performance, keeping documentation up to date, and coordinating with customers to deliver timely security

Qualifications

Nitec/Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network devices.
Understanding of IT infrastructure and security operations.

Responsibilities

Provision, deployment, configuration, and administration of network and security hardware/software.
Evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies when onboarding new tech.
Provide technical support for customer problems, incidents, requests, and queries.
Configure routers, switches, and ensure up-to-date firmware/patches.
Experience with firewall rules implementation and incident troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance and maintain uptime.
Update/upgrade/migrate security tools used by the team.
Maintain clear documentation of processes, instructions, and network details.
Coordinate cybersecurity projects with customers to deliver timely security initiatives.
Perform other adhoc duties as assigned
