Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our corporate network architecture, supporting growth, security, and reliability.

You will lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business needs. The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista, BGP/OSPF, firewall/VPN security, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in network engineering or infrastructure management.
• 3+ years in a senior-level network engineering role.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall management, and VPN technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing VoIP and unified communications solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cloud networking platforms and hybrid network environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Organized approach to project management and technical documentation.
• Preferred: Experience with network automation and scripting languages (Python, Ansible).
• Preferred: Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and implementations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
• Preferred: Leadership experience and proven ability to mentor technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
