Job summary

ROOTS Communications Pte Ltd, an established IT solutions provider, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust network infrastructures in Singapore. The role is full-time and based in the Kallang Central Region, with responsibilities spanning installation, testing and ongoing maintenance.

You will provide expert troubleshooting, collaborate across teams, ensure documentation accuracy, and drive system acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of Senior Network Engineer experience in ICT.
• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining complex networks.
• Diploma/degree in IT/Computer Engineering or relevant IT cert.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting; able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation for stakeholder collaboration.
• Certifications in network engineering (CCNP/CCIE HCIP/HCIE) are highly desirable.
• Able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient network infrastructures that support our clients' critical business operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Install, test, and commission network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of network system
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network-related issues
4. Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to network components to ensure optimal performance
5. Conduct system acceptance test and update as-built documentation

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience (5 to 8+ years) as a Senior Network Engineer in the Information & Communication Technology industry
2. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures
3. Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Engineering or relevant IT certification.
4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
6. Certifications in network engineering, such as CCNP/CCIE HCIP/HCIE, are highly desirable.
7. Able to start immediately.
