Job summary
Lonza Singapore is seeking a Lead Engineer in MSAT - Purification to lead preparation, execution, monitoring, and post-campaign activities for purification stages at the Tuas facility. The role requires deep biotechnology process experience, strong data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams.
You will monitor process behavior, drive investigations, and contribute to technical documentation, APR and CPV activities.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in biotechnology process development, process support, or related manufacturing environment.
- Experience with purification processes and cell culture operations preferred.
- Strong emphasis on process documentation, data integrity, and GMP-like controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation, execution, process monitoring, and post-campaign activities for cell culture or purification stages at Lonza Singapore facility.
- Monitor processes to identify issues; lead investigations across departments and customers; write change requests and drive implementations.
- Review purification batch records; provide technical input to document writers; identify training needs for operators on batch records.
