Job summary

BIOTRONIK seeks an experienced Mobile App Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of patient- and clinician-facing software for BIOTRONIK’s medical device products. You will develop test plans, implement automation, and maintain frameworks across Android mobile apps.

The role involves collaboration with software developers, product managers, and QA, with a focus on regulatory alignment and robust testing processes. Successful candidates bring 5+ years in automated mobile testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience writing code in C#, Java, Kotlin or other OO languages.
• Experience writing NUnit or JUnit tests.
• 5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Gherkin for Android mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, implement test automation, and manage test results for mobile apps, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address software defects.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for mobile apps to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
• Work with regulatory affairs to ensure testing complies with standards and regulations.
