Job summary

BIOTRONIK is seeking a Mobile App Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of patient- and clinician-facing software for BIOTRONIK’s medical device products. You will develop test plans, implement automation, and manage results for mobile apps, while collaborating with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to address defects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field, 5+ years in OO programming (C#, Java, Kotlin), and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of OO programming experience (C#, Java, Kotlin or equivalent).
• Experience writing NUnit or JUnit tests.
• 5+ years automated testing with Selenium, Appium or Gherkin for Android apps.
• Strong analytical skills and teamwork orientation.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile App Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our patient- and clinician-facing software for BIOTRONIK’s medical device products.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, implement test automation, and manage test results for mobile apps, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals, to identify and address software defects.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for mobile apps to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure testing processes align with industry standards and regulations.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience writing code in C#, Java, Kotlin or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience writing NUnit or JUnit tests.
• 5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Gherkin in testing Android mobile apps.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
