Job summary

nextsoft pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a proactive Mid-Senior App Test Engineer to own the overall project quality. You will drive end-to-end testing for Android and iOS, analyze requirements for risks, and troubleshoot defects across product and engineering teams.

The role demands strong QA fundamentals, mobile platform knowledge, API testing expertise, and bilingual communication in English and Mandarin. You will optimize processes and contribute to production quality improvements.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of software testing theories, defect lifecycles, and advanced test design.
Deep understanding of Android and iOS platforms, with cross-version compatibility testing.
Proficient in debugging and testing tools: Charles, Fiddler, Postman, JMeter, ADB.
Strong HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, API testing and data verification skills.
Ability to parse logs and databases for root-cause analysis.
Analytical mindset with risk identification and edge-case discovery.
Business proficiency in English and Mandarin for collaboration.

Responsibilities

End-to-end testing for Android and iOS apps, including functional, API, and performance testing.
Analyze requirements to spot missing logic, conflicts, and risks early.
Own testing schedules and drive on-time project releases.
Isolate defects using logs; collaborate to ensure fixes are closed.
Support production issues and drive continuous quality improvements.
Refine testing workflows and test-case frameworks to boost coverage.
