Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group’s FCM Meetings & Events unit seeks a Senior Events Manager for SEA to orchestrate memorable corporate events from inception to execution. You will manage sourcing, budgeting, and onsite delivery, while cultivating client relationships and negotiating with venues and suppliers to maximize value.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate group travel and logistics, and drive repeat business in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years' experience in the MICE industry handling corporate events end-to-end.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a broad network across DMCs, vendors, hoteliers and transporters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, lasting client relationships and serve as the go-to problem solver.
• Research and recommend venues that meet client criteria and budgets.
• Prepare and manage budgets, updating clients throughout the process.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to deliver value while achieving revenue targets.
• Coordinate with travel consultants to manage group travel and manifests.
• Bring programs to life with venue setup, décor, AV, menus, transport and on-site execution.
• Manage attrition, cancellation and deposit schedules for hotels and vendors.
• Own program data and registration management, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Provide onsite support including pre-cons, VIP needs and smooth operations.
• Review supplier bills for accuracy and oversee post-event reconciliation.
