Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a senior Metrology/Optics Engineer to own precision metrology equipment, perform dimensional and profile inspections of micro-optics, and drive data analysis from recipe setup through inspection.

The role uses SolidWorks, Python and MATLAB to develop datasets, data-processing and automation solutions for R&D and manufacturing, and to advance 2PP and CNC-based lens fabrication with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Optics, or related field.
5–8 years in Metrology, Optics or Photonics.
Programming skills in Python or MATLAB are preferred.

Responsibilities

Own precision metrology equipment and carry from recipe setup to inspection.
Perform dimensional and profile inspection of micro-optics (singlets, arrays, wafer-level structures).
Develop datasets for 3D printing, lens-profile modeling, and process optimization using SolidWorks, Python, and/or MATLAB.
Develop data-processing, image-processing, and automation solutions for R&D and manufacturing.
Own polymer printing/imprinting processes for singlet, array, and wafer-level lenses.
Develop and optimize 2PP and CNC-based step-and-repeat processes, including alignment, dispensing and inspection recipes.
Characterize materials, troubleshoot issues, and improve precision, stability, and yield.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement advanced micro-optics processes and technologies.
