NOVA MEASURING INSTRUMENTS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an optical metrology specialist to work with international customers, develop measurement programs, and qualify systems on-site. The role involves training customers, supporting sales and service teams, and collaborating across multiple departments.

Applicants should hold a relevant engineering or physics degree, have strong metrology knowledge, and be willing to travel internationally up to 25%. Proficiency in English and IT tools is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in physics, EE, or related technical discipline.
• Business-level English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of metrology principles and practical measurement concepts.
• Experience with optical measurement systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer interaction.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with data evaluation.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training and presentations.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, able to work with minimal supervision.
• IT skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Matlab/Octave, Python.

Responsibilities

• High level usage of optical sensors and software to determine dimensional quantities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations with international customers.
• Develop and configure measurement programs for optical metrology systems.
• Perform system qualification and acceptance testing at customer sites.
• Provide on-site and remote customer training and support.
• Collaborate across departments; undertake other tasks as needed.
