Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Application Support Engineer to bridge production operations, support teams, and technical stakeholders, ensuring stability and performance of shopfloor systems.

You will provide L2/L3 support, lead troubleshooting, coordinate across shifts, and work with DevOps and business users to sustain high availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years in Manufacturing Application or Production Support.
Experience with MES, shopfloor or warehouse systems.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and shopfloor operations.
Knowledge of MES/ERP, Industry 4.0 concepts.
Backend analysis with relational databases.
Scripting or programming basics advantageous.
Experience in SDLC, change and release management.
Strong problem solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support during designated shifts.
Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Monitor health and performance of manufacturing systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with DevOps, vendors, and owners to implement fixes.
Support testing, UAT, and hypercare for new functionalities.
Execute releases, patches, deployments per IT governance.
