Job summary

talentsis pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a capable MEP QS to manage cost planning, measurement and tender activities across construction projects. You will work with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate cost control and commercial reporting.

The role offers guidance from senior team members, exposure to a range of MEP cost management activities and opportunities for professional development within a construction cost consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• .3+ years of relevant M&E or Quantity Surveying experience for the MEP QS position.
• Senior MEP QS: 6+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Exposure to both mechanical and electrical works is advantageous.
• Experience with BOQ, variation claims, progress claims and tender documentation.
• Familiar with MS Excel and cost management software.

Job description

You will be involved in the commercial and cost management of MEP works across construction projects, working closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of MEP cost plans, estimates and tender documentation.
• Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements and pricing for MEP works.

Key Requirements

• Minimum3 years of relevant M&E or Quantity Surveying experiencefor the MEP QS position.
• For Senior MEP QS, preferably6 years or more of relevant experience.
• Candidates with both Mechanical and Electrical exposure will have an advantage.
• Experience in MEP cost management, measurement, claims or quantity surveying is preferred.
• Familiarity with BOQ, variation claims, progress claims and tender documentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with quantity take-off or cost management software is advantageous.
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
