Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager in the Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership Office (MedTech) to lead strategic partnerships with MedTech MNCs and local companies in Singapore.

You will identify industry and R&D trends, manage key accounts, develop networks across academia and industry, and support national RIE initiatives. The role requires 3+ years in healthcare/biomed/medtech and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Healthcare, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or MedTech/HealthTech with background in diagnostics or life science instrumentation, clinical research/development, product development or technology commercialization.
• Broad vision of science and technology; ability to handle diverse topics and understand new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse industry and R&D trends across therapeutic areas and tech segments; feedback insights to Singapore's R&D programmes and industry strategies.
• Drive industry development and company account management; build trusted relationships with MedTech MNCs and local companies; facilitate meetings and proposals; support contracting/financing discussions as needed.
• Develop networks with academia, clinical community, technology transfer offices, and public-sector agencies in Singapore.
• Drive or support R&D programmes and national initiatives within HHP RIE domains.
