A*STAR Research, through the Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership Office (BMSIPO), is seeking a Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director to lead MedTech partnerships and R&D collaboration with multinational and local MedTech players in Singapore.

The role anchors strategic development, engages R&D executives, and coordinates with public and private sector partners to drive value, funding, and contracts for national healthcare technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic partnerships.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programmes.
• Strong analytical skills to assess R&D trends and industry dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse industry and R&D trends across major therapeutic areas and tech segments.
• Drive industry development and key account management with MedTech MNCs and local companies.
• Develop networks with academic, clinical, and public sector partners in Singapore.
• Drive national-level HHP RIE initiatives and multi-institutional programmes.
